Abbott Pharmaceuticals, a prominent pharmaceutical company, sought to enhance brand visibility and provide a valuable solution for their B2B customers, the shop retailers, across India. Our task was to design and install a unique Point of Sale Materials (POSM) solution that would effectively address these objectives.
To tackle the dual challenge of visibility and retailer benefit, we developed a custom POSM solution called the 'Abbott Cash Till.' This innovative product featured a secure cash till, a note checker, and multiple phone charging wires, making it highly useful for retailers. The introduction of new 2000/- rupees notes and the prevalence of fake notes in the market further highlighted the importance of this solution. Strategically positioned on the counter near the checkout, the Abbott Cash Till ensured maximum visibility for both consumers and retailers. It incorporated a digital screen facing the consumers, programmed to display the Abbott brand video, further reinforcing brand recognition. We successfully designed, manufactured, and installed these units across more than 100 chemists throughout India.
